Newton School of Technology Review
Placements: As our college is new, started in 2023, our senior had internships in their 4th semester which was running for them. The average internship stipend is 33,000, and many seniors were also selected in GSoC, ICPS, and many hackathons where they had also earned decently.
Infrastructure: Our hotels are new, and for upcoming students, new hostels are building. Mess food is awesome and very tasty. Our course is also designed well; we are learning industry things in the first year itself, and we had AC in our rooms, although it was fixed to 26Β°C, but it's good anyway. A common area on every floor was there, and a fridge, microwave, and water cooler were also on every floor.
Faculty: Amazing faculty members, very knowledgeable. If they don’t know anything, they directly tell you that they have no idea about this right now. Can’t waste unnecessary time, and our curriculum is best. We are learning real computer science, and we are completing full-stack web dev in 2 years with Python and proper deep DSA.
Other: Students from different places with us are very supportive, engaging, and crazy people. Changing with such friends is also a good experience and good learning from them for me.
