The aspirants who meet the prescribed educational requirements can apply for the course admission. Students who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass with a minimum of 45% aggregate can apply. The applicants must hold the pass certificates (original/copies) at the time of form filling and admission. These documents are required for verification purposes. The aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass from a recognised board can apply for admission. However, the qualifying exam should have been passed with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Candidates should have the qualifying exam pass certificate/mark sheet during form filling and admission. The document is required by the university for verification purposes. The mentioned minimum aggregate is as per unofficial sources and hence, is subject to changes.

For admission to BTech course of NICMAR University, Pune, aspirants must have the minimum educational qualifications. Aspirants must have the relevant documents as well. The documents are required to verify the provided details. The eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • Passed Class 12 with 45% aggregate (40% aggregate, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates), OR
  • 3 years of DVoc stream in the same or allied sector,  OR
  • 3 years Diploma in Engineering & Technology passed with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for EWS and Persons with Disability)

Candidates seeking admission are required to have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for the candidates from reserved category) at graduation level. Final year eligible graduating students can also apply.

The eligible candidates will be invited to appear for the selection procedure, which comprises Post Graduate NICMAR Common Admission Test (PG-NCAT), Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Rating of Application (RA). Apart from this, the final year graduating students can also apply for the course. However, such candidates must have completed their Graduation before the commencement of programme.

  • Admission criteria for Master of Planning (Urban Planning) include performance in NICMAR PG-NCAT + GD + PI as per the standard admission procedure. This is to note that, GATE qualification will be preferred but not compulsory for admission 2024.

To get admission for I-MBA at NICMAR 2024, the candidate have to meet the pre-defined educational qualification. The candidate need to complete Class 12 or HSC or equivalent examination with a minimum percentage of 60% aggregate in Class 10/ SSC and Class 12/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55% for the candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PwD category).

The candidate will be selected as per pre-defined course curriculum. The aspirant will be selected as per under Graduate NICMAR Common Admission Test (UG-NCAT) and Personal Interview (PI). This is to note that, for BTech in Civil Engineering, valid scores of JEE / MH CET / PERA / CUET UG / Other States CET will be considered as an alternative for UG-NCAT.
