The aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass from a recognised board can apply for admission. However, the qualifying exam should have been passed with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Candidates should have the qualifying exam pass certificate/mark sheet during form filling and admission. The document is required by the university for verification purposes. The mentioned minimum aggregate is as per unofficial sources and hence, is subject to changes.

For admission to BTech course of NICMAR University, Pune, aspirants must have the minimum educational qualifications. Aspirants must have the relevant documents as well. The documents are required to verify the provided details. The eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • Passed Class 12 with 45% aggregate (40% aggregate, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates), OR
  • 3 years of DVoc stream in the same or allied sector,  OR
  • 3 years Diploma in Engineering & Technology passed with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for EWS and Persons with Disability)

Candidates seeking admission are required to have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for the candidates from reserved category) at graduation level. Final year eligible graduating students can also apply.

The eligible candidates will be invited to appear for the selection procedure, which comprises Post Graduate NICMAR Common Admission Test (PG-NCAT), Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Rating of Application (RA). Apart from this, the final year graduating students can also apply for the course. However, such candidates must have completed their Graduation before the commencement of programme.
