The seat intake for the B. Des course through NID Entrance Exam is 425. For M.Des course, 347 seats are available for admission at NID campuses. Apart from this number, some seats are also reserved for overseas (supernumerary) candidates. Admission to the B. Des programme at the NIDs will be on the basis of NID that 2023 merit rank and college option opted by the candidate. Meanwhile, M.Des candidates aren't required to select colleges.

The application edit window for NID DAT 2024 will open soon after the application form closes. Using the application edit window, the candidate will be able to edit details like their address, applied category, exam centre, etc. However, the candidate can't change the Programme Applied in, Name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, Registered Mobile Number, and Registered Email ID. Also, if the candidate changes their applied category, the applicable application fees have to be paid by the candidate. Further, no refund of fees will be made in case of any category change.

The application form for NID (National Institute of Design) for the year 2024 is open. You can fill out the form online at admissions.nid.edu. This form is for applying to the BDes and MDes courses offered by colleges that are part of NID.
You can choose to fill out the form with regular fees or with late fees. If you choose the regular fees option, the form can be filled out until approximately the third week of December 2023.
If you choose the late fees option, the form can be filled out until approximately the fourth week of December 2023.
