Candidates applying for MSc or PG diploma course have to pay an application fee of INR 1,000 + 12% GST (INR 500 + 12% GST for SC/ ST). For O/ A/ B/ C level programmes, the application fee is INR 500. Aspirants can pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes such as CSC-SPV, Online (transfer, credit card, debit card, net banking), NEFT and RTGS.

In general, the quality of certificate courses offered by NIELIT centers in Kolkata and Patna is similar. NIELIT follows standardized curricula across all its centers and conducts exams centrally, ensuring consistency in learning experiences and assessments.

Both centers offer the same course material and learning objectives set by NIELIT. The certificates issued by both centers hold equal value nationwide.

NIELIT Information Technology at NIELIT, Kolkata accepts entrance based and merit based admission system. If you want to take admission in this institution then you need to qualify the NIELIT Entrance examination and candidates must qualify Class 12th Examination from any Recognised Board.

The average salary package of NIELIT, Kolkata varies between INR 3.5L - INR 4.8 L Per Annum and the highest salary package offered is INR 6 Lacs Per Annum and the lowest salary package is around INR 2 LPA . 

Overall, the placement record is not so good . According to the previous placement reports and feedbacks from the previous students we can say, 40-50 % students get placed every year through the placement cell or the campus placement opportunities .
