Yes mam, class 12th commerce students are also eligible for admission in NIFT in B.Des course. For this course, the only requirement is passed or appearing in 10+2.

Yes, NIFT allows a student who has taken examination up to level 10+2 in any streams.
The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/
State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education /
State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
or
General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the
Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB).
orAny Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized
by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 sys

Getting admission through general quota with this rank is a little hard. However, with your OBC rank you will easily get admission in MFM in any of the NIFT centers. If it doesn't work, you can try for an NRI seat. Call the college before hand and ask them about NRI seats.

No, you wouldn't get admission in NIFT at the rank because the numbers of seats are limited and all the campuses do not provide B.F.Tech. Start working and apply next year too.
