-If you possess a High School/Secondary Certificate from any foreign Board/University and want to take admission to Senior Secondary course of NIOS. You will be required to attach a Certificate from the concerned embassy to the effect that the examination passed by you is equivalent to the Indian High School/Secondary Examination. Note:
The NIOS Class 12th registrations 2023 will be open for Class 10 passed students. They must be 15 years of age in order to be eligible to apply for NIOS 12th registration.

1- Course: Secondary Course
Pass Criteria: A minimum of 33 percent marks in the aggregate (Theory and Practicals both are applicable) in the public examination. Certification Criteria: Pass in 5 subjects including at least one but not more than two languages
2- Course: Senior Secondary Course
Pass Criteria: A minimum of 33 percent marks (separately in theory and Practicals in subjects having both and also in aggregate) in the public examination.
