If your name doesn't appear in NIOS's list of eligible learners, you cannot proceed to pay exam fees until that is resolved. You have two main pathways: (1) get your admission details formally corrected via NIOS's e? Services, or (2) secure a written permission from your NIOS Regional Centre (RC) or Headquarters (HQ) to appear and pay fees provisionally. Once your name is on the list (or you hold the special permission), you can log into the NIOS fee? payment portal at sdmis.nios.ac.in, select your exam session and subjects, and pay online via credit/debit card, net? banking, or UPI.

Students have to pay an exam fee to appear for the class 12 examination conducted by NIOS. Failing to do so may lead to unwanted hurdles. If a candidate has forgotten to pay the class 12 NIOS fees then he/ she has two options and they are as mentioned below:

  1. Students can apply for the ODES exam which is conducted in the next month of NIOS examination.
  2. The other option available for the student is he/she can wait for the next half-yearly exam.
