Previous year trends indicate that MSc in Microbiology admission cutoff at Nirma University might fall within 55 to 60% for general students along with 50 to 55% for those from reserved categories. Nirma University has the provision of an anti-ragging mechanism where every institute has an Anti-Ragging committee. Annually, the institute conducts a meeting of the Monitoring cell that discusses and decides the guidelines related to the anti-ragging measures. 

Additionally, all the students and their parents are required to submit an online undertaking every year. All the institutes of Nirma University conduct surprise inspections at hostels, canteens, rest cum recreational rooms, bus stands and other places to prevent ragging.
