Institute of Science, Nirma University shortlists candidates for the MSc course based on the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Nirma University. Besides, the university also conducts an entrance test for PhD programme. The institute also considers a valid score in UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, GPAT for PhD admission. Shortlisted aspirants are further called for interview/ viva-voce for admission.

The candidates must have scored at least 50% of their maximum marks in their 10+2 studies in order to be eligible for the Nirma University's B.Sc. programs. Requirements on a specialisation basis differ; for instance, a B.Sc. in computer Science requires physics and mathematics, while a B.Sc. in biotechnology requires biology. The candidates must also qualify to appear for the entrance exam of the university or fulfill other requirements listed in the official prospectus.

Nirma University is offering Integrated BBA MBA program. The admission criteria for all india category is IPMAT while for Gujarat category is 12th marks.

To be eligible for an MBA at Nirma University, Ahmedabad you need a minimum marks of 60% aggregate marks in your 12th standard. Candidates need to appear in the entrance exam like CAT. Admission process is based on the entrance exam score and academic performance. Candidate are also required to appear in the IPMAT TET and personal interview is conducted by the institute of the management after the selection in the merit list of entrance exam.
