A GATE score of 70 would not get you admission at NIT Goa in the third round. As per the NIT Goa GATE cutoff 2026, the General AI category faced a cutoff ranging from 353 to 552. Hence, a score of at least 353 would be required for admission.

For the OBC AI category, the NIT Goa cutoff 2026 ranged from 4861 to 12766, with BTech CSE being the most difficult course for admission.

NIT Goa JEE Main cutoff 2026 has been released for the first round for admission to the BTech course and its various specialisations. The General AI category candidates need to attain a rank of at least 40592 to be qualified for admission in the first round as per NIT Goa BTech cutoff 2026.

NIT Goa cutoff 2026 has been released for round 1. The cutoff has been released for admission to BTech courses on the basis of JEE Main results.
The cutoff was announced for different categories belonging to the All India and Home State quotas. For the General AI category, the cutoff ranks varied between 13997 and 40592. NIT Goa BTech cutoff 2024 for Computer Science Engineering was 2234 for SC and 626 for ST category. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Main, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per NIT Goa JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 47155 for General category candidates in All India quota for Civil Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 54176 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
