While comparing the NIRF ranking 2023, NIT Jalandhar has been ranked 46 in the Engineering category whereas NIT Bhopal has been ranked 80 for the same. The tuition fee of the B.Tech programme is comparatively higher for NIT Bhopal ( B.Tech: INR 5.77 Lacs - INR 7.18 Lacs) than for NIT Jalandhar (BTech: INR 1.67 Lacs). NIT Jalandhar recorded the highest package of INR 1.20 crore per annum (BTech) during the placement drive of 2023. About 117 visited during the placement drive 2023. Believe me nobody knows Thapar outside Punjab state whereas NITS are known throughout the country.
Due to certain reputation NIT provide better opportunity for higher studies in foreign which you will surely not get in Thapar.

There is a chance to get ECE in NIT Jalandhar with home state quota (female). Last year closing Rank was 26365. At 93.5 percentile your obc rank will be vary from 25000 to 30000. So, This will be confirm after final result. If your obc category Rank is below 26000 then you will get ECE in NIT Jalandhar. I hope you will get your dream college.
