The mode of Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar course admissions is online. NIT Jalandhar course admissions are entrance-based. The institute offers the BTech programme at the undergraduate level and the MBA, MSc and M.Tech programmes at the PG level. For admission to its BTech programme, Dr BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar accepts the JEE Main scores, followed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling.

The pros of Jalandhar NIT is its name itself. To compete with all other NITs, the college takes great efforts. Being a part of the prestigious NIT group, Jalandhar NIT is visited by top companies for placements. The cons is again the name itself, to maitain its great reputation, the college has set some rules. There are several rules that students have to follow such as mandatory attendence and others. Some students find these rules as quite strict.
