To help you out I am giving a link that will predict the colleges for you when you input the percentile score:
https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor
At first, congratulations on scoring 89 percentile in IIT JEE Mains. It is a very good result indeed that you have achieved. I am sure with this percentile you can definitely get admission in NIT-Manipur. If not in the first counselling, then do attend a few more.

Hello Manoj,
You may use the college predictor tool from the link below to know your chances of getting the colleges, with your JEE Main score:
https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor
However, you need to have at least 75 percent in board exams (for general category) and 65 percent (for reserved categories) to secure admission through JOSAA counselling.

If you are from general category then it's quite difficult to get seat in NITs or IIITs. You can try for any private college or just take drop and prepare really well to improve your rank.

In NITS and IIITS maybe not as you are from general category. Take a year drop and prepare well or try to get admission in any private college.

It could be better as you will get some good facilities and more opportunities due to the fact that you are in a government college. If you are concerned with your studies then it could be better than the state colleges. You will definitely get problems regarding infrastructure. But then you have to choose according to your priorities.

Hi Harshad,
YMCA is far more better than NIT, Manipur as it is not yet established NIT.
CS in YMCA is top class and YMCA is the top university in Haryana with placement in CS up to 90 percent.
It's my own college and on behalf of my experience sharing it
Hope to see you in YMCA. All the very best.

Go for MBM Jodhpur. NIT Manipur is at very lower rank, whereas MBM Jodhpur is a top-ranked college or Rajasthan. It is also a favourable industrial location and better than Manipur in terms of placements and academics. Best of luck.
