NIT Patna - National Institute of Technology Admission Process

Indeed, depending on JEE Mains results, NIT Patna's BTech admissions are anticipated to begin in June or July of 2024. The institute provides an eight-semester, four-year BTech programme. Step 1: Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Select the option that says "New Candidate Registration" and register by entering a few basic details.

Step 3: Login using the details provided and fill in the application form. 

Step 4: Pay the application fee through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and submit application.

NOTE: Aspirants must select JEE Main paper-II while filling out the application. 

Candidates shall keep handy the required documents during GATE application process and admission process. These documents are required for verification purposes. Find below the documents to be kept handy:

• Image of candidate's signature
• Passport-size photograph with white background (JPEG/ JPG format only)
• Scanned copy of Category certificate (for SC/ST) in pdf format
• Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format
• Scanned copy of Certificate of Dyslexia (if applicable) in pdf format
• Scanned copy of a valid photo Identity proof such as an Aadhaar-UID (preferable)/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Voter's ID/ Driving License (Candidates must carry the same ID (in original) to the examination hall)

For admission to BTech at NIT Patna, aspirants need to complete the JEE Main application process, conducted by NTA. The steps to be followed for completing application form are:

Step 1: Open the NTA official website. 

Step 2: Click on the “JEE Main 2025 Registration” link. 

Step 3: Fill in the required details and click on the “Submit” button to complete the registration. After the completion of JEE Main registration process, candidates will receive an email and message in their registered email ID and mobile phone number with details of the application form number and password. Candidates will need to keep safe/save the details of registration.

Step 4: After completion of registration, candidates will be redirected to the page for filling out the detailed application form. 

Step 5: Upload scanned images of passport-size photographs and signature along with other required documents.

Step 6: Payment of the application fee.

Step 7: The application form will be automatically submitted after the payment of application fees.
