No, admission at National Institute of Technology Patna to a BTech programme is done only on the basis of merit in JEE Main. The seat allotment process is carried out through JoSAA counselling. The National Institute of Technology Patna offers a two-year full-time MTech course at the postgraduate level. NIT Patna admission to the MTech course duration MTech course usually starts in the month of March-April after the GATE exam result declaration.
