NMIT Bangalore BTech eligibility criteria state the requirements that students must fulfill to be able to enroll in the BTech programme. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the optional subjects of Physics, Mathematics and any one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics, with English as one of the languages of study.

NMIT Bangalore M.Tech admission is entrance based. Candidates who have a BTech or BE qualification with minimum 50% aggregate (candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ ST and Category-1 must obtain at least 45% aggregate) in the qualifying examination can apply for admission in the M.Tech programme. Further, candidates must appear for Karnataka PGCET or GATE (for admission through the management quota).

NMIT Banagalore offers three porgrammes at PG level. The admission to 50% of MBA / MCA / M.Tech seats is through a valid score in PGCET and the remaining 50% admissions are done through Management quota. AICTE has approved an additional 15% seats for foreign nationals/PIO/NRI/students whose parents work in Gulf countries over and above the sanctioned intake. Candidates who have passed graduation with 50% and for candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and category-1 with 45% are eligible to apply for the programme. Candidates who wants to apply must have a valid score in PGCETKMATCMAT.

A pass in BCA or Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering or BSc/ BA/ BCom with Mathematics at Class 12 or graduation level with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for Karnataka belonging to SC/ ST and Category-1) is required to apply for the MCA course.
