The curriculum of Law courses offered at NUALS Kochi has compulsory internship per semester. This is to encourage students for doing internships at leading legal firms. These internship provides opportunities to students to acquire diverse range of skills in areas such as litigation, research and policy work.

The Placement Cell at NUALS Kochi acts as a bridging platform for firms from legal fraternity to interact with the students for placement purpose. Recruiters must inform the Placement Coordinator before visiting the campus. online interviews facilities are also provided in cases where a direct interview is not possible.

Yes, NUALS Kochi has a placement cell at its campus. The Placement Cell at the University is established for facilitating placement and recruitment process. The Cell also provides Pre-placement training and is administered by a students' committee. The placement department runs under the able guidance of the Faculty Coordinator appointed by the University.

The total number of seats available for NUALS Kochi LLM programe is 40. Out of which 5% of the seats are reserved for Specially Abled Persons (SAP). There are reservations available for Kerala Domicile students belonging to different categories such as SC, ST, and SEBC. The minimum aggregate for SC/ ST candidates is 45% for admission to National University of Advanced Legal Studies. 

The Consortium of National Law Universities has announced the admissions lists for the CLAT 2024 programme. The CLAT Fifth Round closing ranks for the NLU Kochi for its flagship LLM programme have been released recently.

According to the NLU Kochi CLAT cutoff 2024, the Last Round for LL.M. in Constitutional and Administrative Law was 1707 for the General AI category. However, as compared to the previous year, the ranks are slightly lower for the LLM course. In addition to that, the rank for the same course in 2023 was 1799 for the General AI category.
