Both universities have the same pros and cons, such as the fact that NUALS has more facilities and a better overall package than Chimney Vishwas Vidyapeeth, while Chimney Vishwas Vidyapeeth has a good reputation and a higher placement rate than NUALS.

Yes, admission is open for LLM at National Law University Kochi for the academic year 2025. Admissions to the five year LLM Degree Programme (Choice Based Credit & Semester) are made through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). CLAT 2025 registration began on July 15, 2024. The application process for CLAT Exam 2025 was in online mode only. Candidates could fill the application for CLAT 2025 on or before October 22, 2024. To register for CLAT 2025, candidates needed a valid email ID and phone number.

The total number of seats available for NUALS Kochi LLM programe is 40. Out of which 5% of the seats are reserved for Specially Abled Persons (SAP). There are reservations available for Kerala Domicile students belonging to different categories such as SC, ST, and SEBC. The minimum aggregate for SC/ ST candidates is 45% for admission to National University of Advanced Legal Studies. 

The Consortium of National Law Universities has announced the admissions lists for the CLAT 2024 programme. The CLAT Fifth Round closing ranks for the NLU Kochi for its flagship LLM programme have been released recently.

According to the NLU Kochi CLAT cutoff 2024, the Last Round for LL.M. in Constitutional and Administrative Law was 1707 for the General AI category. However, as compared to the previous year, the ranks are slightly lower for the LLM course. In addition to that, the rank for the same course in 2023 was 1799 for the General AI category. The NUALS Kochi CLAT Cutoff 2026 was out for admission to the BA LLB and LLM course for Round 1. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for the All India category candidates. According to the closing cutoff in Round 1 2025, the cutoff range was between 1076 and 1131 for the General AI category for the BA LLB and LLM course, respectively.

LL.M. LLB (Hons) was the hardest out of the two to avail admission to for the General AI category.  On the other hand for the PWD AI category, the hardest course specialisation were LL.M. in International Trade Law and B.A. in Constitutional and Administrative Law, with the cutoff of 11998 for both the courses.
