DSNLU has an intake of 60 in LLM programme. There are nine extra seats for students. Candidates with a valid score in CLAT are offered seat in the course. Out of the total intake, there are 15% seats reserved for SC, 10% for EWS and 6% for ST category candidates. Once aspirants are allotted seat in the university, they need to pay a course fee to confirm their admission.

Yes, DSNLU accepts CLAT score for admission to BA LLB (Hons) course. As per the DSNLU cutoff 2024, the closing rank for BA LLB (Hons) Round-1 and last round was 1233 and 1390, respectively. The rank improved from 2080 in 2023 to 1390 in 2024. Candidates must score well in CLAT to get a seat in the university. One must also fulfil the eligibility criteria for BA LLB (Hons) for admission.

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Andhra Pradesh has a total of 120 seats in BA LLB (Hons) course. Besides, there are 18 extra seats available for students. Out of the total intake, university reserves some seats for reserved category candidates. 50% of the seats are filled as per the rules of Andhra Pradesh state and 40% are allotted on All India Basis. Besides, the remaining 10% of the seats are allotted to foreign citizens,  Non-Resident Indians or Non-Resident Indians Sponsored.

No, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Andhra Pradesh does not offer direct admission. Candidates need to pass CLAT to get admission in BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes. For PhD course, aspirants need to score well in the entrance-exam conducted by the university. DSNLU also considers entrance-exams such as UGC-JRF/ NET/ SLET for PhD admission.

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam CLAT cutoff 2024 has been released by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) for admissions to the LLM course. The cutoffs were released for the opening and closing rounds. 

According to DSNLU Visakhapatnam cutoff 2024 for the Round 5 cutoff list, the closing rank for LLM is 2033 for the General AII India category students.

For the OBC category, the CLAT Round 5 cutoff is 2940 for the LLM programme. Check out year-wise comparison for the general category. For more information, candidates can click here:

The college is approved by BCI and recognised by the UGC This college offers various full time courses in the field of law. The DSNLU is a government owned college.
