As far as I remember from my own experience NMAT cutoff goes up to 220-230. With score below it you won't be able to get into it.

First you decide which type of MBA you want to do. Specialised or general. Judicously choose the specializations. Then shortlist top college for that MBA programme for example if MBA in HR then XAVIER. IBS comes under top 50 school but its fees is high. You can explore on other MBA exams like CMAT. Best wishes.

For NMAT scores to be acceptable, you need to apply separately for NMIMS branches and for XAT also you need to fill up admission applications of various colleges for the scores to be considered. It is unlike CAT.

If you are not choosing LPU for MBA, make sure you are into Iims or the deemed government business schools of India. Moreover, I would suggest you go through NIRF rankings 2020 for B-Schools and plan accordingly. LPU has been ranked 50th. Also, spending more money on colleges has nothing to do with the quality of education. It has to do with the quality of their infrastructure (for private colleges). The eligibility criteria for MBA at LPU is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent and Interview. Yes VIT, Vellore accept NMAT score for its MBA courses. The detailed eligibility criteria is given below. Eligibility criteria: A minimum of 60% mark of First class is required in undergraduate degree from a recognised University or Institution.
