Candidates who are awaiting their Class 12 result can apply for BCom admission at NMIMS Hyderabad. They are eligible for provisional admission. Their admission will be finalised only if they manage to secure at least 50% in Class 12. They must also submit the required documents and fee within the stipulated time. If the candidate fails to fulfil any of the aforementioned requirements, their admission will be cancelled.

The BCom (Hons) curriculum followed at NMIMS Hyderabad comprises topics related to the broad fields of Accountancy, Management, Finance, Taxation, etc. Students can choose to specialise in Accountancy or Auditing & Finance. No, NMIMS does not allow direct admissions to BCom. The admissions are based on the candidate's performance in the NPAT exam conducted by the institute. After the exam, the institute releases a merit list of shortlisted candidates. Hence, candidates seeking admisison to the BCom programme of the institute must appear for the NPAT exam. The exam is conducted over a window of over 100 days. Candidates can schedule the exam as per their convenience. They can attempt the exam thrice during the exam window.

NMIMS conducts NPAT to admit students to its undergraduate courses like BBA, BCom, BSc Finance, etc. The exam is conducted within a testing window of more than 100 days. Candidates can take up to three attempts of NPAT during this testing window. In 2024, the computer-based test was conducted between January 01, 2024 and May 25, 2024. Following the exam, the merit list for the first round of admission was declared on July 13, 2024.

NMIMS Hyderabad admission dates change every year. The institute typically starts accepting applications in December. For the BCom admissions 2024, the online registration commenced on December 06, 2023. The last date for online registration was May 20, 2024. After the NPAT exam and seat allocation, the admission process concluded on July 29, 2024. Hence, candidates must submit their application on the official website of the institute between the months of December and May.
