- Should have passed 12th class qualifying exam from a recognised board with English as a compulsory subject.
- Minimum of 50 percent marks shoud have been scored in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Indore/Hyderabad campus. For Shirpur campus, the minimum marks is 45 percent.
- Candidates awaiting their result can also apply if they can provide final documents during verification.
- Upper age limit is 25 years old.
- Candidates who have passed 12th class or equivalent examination from International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Certificate with PCM Compulsory) and DP awarded candidates with 24 credits compulsory and has passed a minimum of 3 subjects at Higher Level (HL) and a minimum of 3 subjects at Standard Level (SL) mandatorily from any stream are also eligible.

No, candidates cannot bring soft copies of identity proof at NMIMS CET exam centre. All candidates have to bring original identity proof to exam centre along with admit card. Without ID proof, they will not be allowed to attempt exam.
