NMIMS does not accept scores of the CAT exam for admission in its MBA courses. Even if you have a good percentile in CAT, you have to qualify the eligibility criteria for NMIMS MBA as well as take the NMAT exam. NMAT exam is a national level exam conducted by GMAC as an entrance exam for admission in MBA programs.

Typically, the admission cycle for MBA at NMIMS Indore begins with the NMAT registration in August-October. The NMIMS online application also opens around August- October simultaneously. The NMAT examination takes place in November-December. After shortlisting of candidates, the Competency Assessment Test and Personal Interview rounds are conducted in January- February. The merit list is declared between February-April. After the submission of fee, the new academic session at NMIMS begins in June.

Yes, you can apply for admission to NMIMS Indore in the final year of your Bachelor's Degree. But your admission is provisional subject to clearing the final examination of the undergraduate programme with at least 50% aggregate marks.

Internships, trainings, and apprenticeships are not considered as valid work experience for consideration in MBA admission at NMIMS. The criteria for valid work experience is given as follows:

  1. Work experience after the completion of graduation.
  2. Work experience of more than one year.
  3. Work experience in a company that is listed in both GSTIN and TAN databses.

At the time of admission to MBA programme in NMIMS Indore, the scanned copies only of the following documents are required ro be submitted: Class 10 Marksheet or Pass Certificate, Class 12 Marksheet or Pass Certificate, Degree Certificate, Degree Marksheet, Migration Certificate, Mediclaim policy and Medical Fitness Certificate (In Original signed and stamped).

NMIMS is a private deemed-to-be-university. Its admission process for MBA programs is not governed by the standard reservation policy that is followed in government universities. Therefore, NMIMS does not reserve seats for ST/ST students in its MBA program.

The students who have paid the MBA fees to NMIMS for the first academic year can withdraw the admission. They can fill the withdrawal application form on the official website of the college. If they are found to be eligible for the refund in accordance with the refund policy of the college, they will receive the refund of the fees. They will get the refund within 15 days of submission of the completed form.

The NMAT test registration fee is charged by GMAC. This amounts to INR 3000 per attempt. After the candidate has registered for NMAT test, he/she needs to register at NMIMS and fill up the online registration form for admission in MBA. The NMIMS MBA registration fee is INR 2900.
