North-Eastern Hill University Meghalaya (NEHU) is ranked 106th by QS Ranking under the Asian University Rankings - Southern Asia category and 401-450 by QS Ranking 2024 under the Asian University Rankings. North Eastern Hill University was established in 1973 by an Act of Parliament. The university ranking is quite good. Hence, it is worth taking admission in this university in 2025.

For the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program at North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, the latest cutoff for 2023 is as follows:
- Open Category: 312.54 (Main List) and 289.69 (Waiting List)

No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admission to MBA courses at NEHU Shillong. To get admission to MBA courses applicants are required to qualify their graduation first in a relevant field with at least an aggregate of 50%. Additionally, candidates must have secured valid scores in any of the entrance exams including CUET-PG, MAT, CAT and CMAT.
