With a 7% acceptance rate, Northwestern University is quite hard to get into for international students with average scores. However, students can still get admission if perform excellently in academics, are involved in some activities, and more. The low percentage shows that the university follows a stringent admission procedure during admission. The university follows a few academic and non-academic factors including the rigor of secondary school record, class rank, academic GPA, application essay, recommendation, extracurricular activities, and more.
