If you have appeared for or are preparing for UG entrance exams having same syllabus as NSAT, then you will need not more than 2-3 months to prepare for NSAT. But, if you plan to appear for NSAT only, then given yourself 6 months so that you can cover the syllabus thoroughly and have enough time for practicing sample questions.

NSAT is an easy exam. One can crack it with basic preparation of Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English and GK. Those appearing for NSAT BTech need to only revise their PCMB, PCB, PCM syllabus of class 11 and 12.

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech in Computer Science and AI program at Newton School of Technology through the NSAT exam must fulfil the specified cutoff criteria defined by the institution. Every year the qualifying marks determined by competition level and exam difficulty require candidates to score between 50% to 60% for NSAT exam eligibility at Newton School of Technology. The probability of getting accepted to a seat increases when marks remain high. Candidates who wish to pursue admission at Newton School of Technology need to obtain 60% marks in their PCM subjects in 10+2.

NSAT is conducted for admission to UG courses, thus the minimum eligibility criteria is class 12 or equivalent pass. The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50 percent in their class 12 exam. For, BBA, BBA LLB course, the stream of education can be ARrts, Commerce or Science. BTech applicants must have completed their class 12 from Science stream (with maths).

Students can opt for the February shift of the NSAT exam without taking the January session. Candidates can participate in the NSAT examination organized by NMIMS University through selection of their desired test date and session. NSAT is administered across different cities in India through multiple examination times. Candidates must complete registration and payment of the exam fee at INR 1,800 for the general category as well as INR 1,500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates to participate in the February shift of the NSAT examination.

NSAT admit card is issued soon after the application form is submitted. It can be downloaded from the dashboard. Candidates have to carry the hard copy of the admir card on the exam day.

NSAT syllabus for BBA, BA LLB and BBA LLB courses include all the important topics of English/Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning & General Awareness. NSAT syllabus for BTech includes Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology. Candidates planning to appear for NSAT, must study all the topics included in the syllabus for up to Class 12 level.

NIU admission process through NSAT includes shortlisting of candidates for counselling, conduct of counselling round and final selection. Candidates who meet NSAT cut off or CUET cut off, are shortlisted for admission and a provisional merit list is released. Selected candidates are then required to reserve seat by paying 50 percent of the semester fee. The remaining fee is to be paid within a month to confirm admission.
