Overview

NSAT exam 2026 will be conducted in multiple phases for admission to BBA and other UG programmes. To appear for the entrance test, candidates have to fill the online application form at Noida International University website. Candidates will be allotted an exam day on the basis of their application received. NSAT 2026 exam will be followed by GD/PI. What is NSAT?

NIU Scholarship cum Admission Test or NSAT is a common entrance test for admission to Noida International University’s various undergraduate and postgraduate courses like B Tech, BBA, BA LLB, BBA LLB, BTech+MTech, BBA+MBA, BAJMC courses. For non-technical programmes, selection is merit based and through GD/PI.

NSAT is an MCQ based exam of 1.5 hours in which candidates have to attempt 75 questions from subjects studied in class 11 and 12. Qualifying the NSAT exam is mandatory for admission. Candidates having JEE Main and CUET UG scores can also apply for UG admission. Such candidates do not have to appear for NSAT. 

NSAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

  • Candidate must have scored at least 50% in Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board or university, in relevant education stream.
  • Those who have appeared for Class 12 exam and awaiting result are also eligible to apply. However, their admission will be provisional until submission of passing certificate.

Q:   What is the syllabus of NSAT exam?
A: 

NSAT syllabus for BBA, BA LLB and BBA LLB courses include all the important topics of English/Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning & General Awareness. NSAT syllabus for BTech includes Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology. Candidates planning to appear for NSAT, must study all the topics included in the syllabus for up to Class 12 level.

Q:   What is NIU admission process through NSAT?
A: 

NIU admission process through NSAT includes shortlisting of candidates for counselling, conduct of counselling round and final selection. Candidates who meet NSAT cut off or CUET cut off, are shortlisted for admission and a provisional merit list is released. Selected candidates are then required to reserve seat by paying 50 percent of the semester fee. The remaining fee is to be paid within a month to confirm admission.

Q:   Is NSAT mandatory for admission to NIU?
A: 

No, NSAT or NIU Scholarship cum Admission Test is not mandatory for NIU admission. The institute also accepts CUET for technical programmes. If a candidate has CUET score they can directly seek admission to NIU through counselling. However, if a candidate wishes to appear for NSAT and use its score for admission, they are allowed to do so.

NSAT exam preparation includes covering the syllabus topics wise and practice of sample questions. The syllabus pertains to subjects studied in class 11 and 12, so essentially it will require revision of the same.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for NSAT?

NSAT is conducted for admission to UG courses, thus the minimum eligibility criteria is class 12 or equivalent pass. The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50 percent in their class 12 exam. For, BBA, BBA LLB course, the stream of education can be ARrts, Commerce or Science. BTech applicants must have completed their class 12 from Science stream (with maths). 

Q:   What is the application fee for NSAT exam?
A: 

NSAT application fee is INR 1100. The fee is to be paid at the time of form submission. There is no fee relaxation for any candidate. Candidates must ensure that they pay NSAT fee before application closure to be eligible for the exam. The fee can be paid online.

Q:   What is the duration of NSAT exam?

NSAT exam is conducted for 1.5 hours. There is no break inbetween. There is no sectional time limit too, so candidates will have to be mindful of time distribution for each section.

NSAT Exam Date 2026 and Application Process

Since, NSAT is conducted in multiple phases. After the candidate registers for the exam, the NSAT exam date 2026 will be shared with candidates in email. Candidates can appear for the exam in both online and offline mode. Check below the process of NSAT registration 2026:

  • After successful registration, login with shared login ID

Q:   What is the NSAT application late fee?
A: 

There is option to submit NSAT application form with late fee. Candidates who miss the application deadline can register in the next phase of NIU admission.

Q:   Is NSAT application fee refundable?
A: 

NSAT application fee is non-refundable. There is no provision to seek refund of fee amount under any circumstances. Thus, candidates must fill the form only if they are sure of appearing for the test.

Q:   Can I edit NSAT application form after submitting it?
A: 

There is no option to edit the NSAT application fee after it has been submitted. If you have made an error, you will have to register again and pay the fee again.

Q:   Can I fill NSAT application form now and pay the fee later?
A: 

Yes, you can fill the NSAT application form first and pay the fee later. But make sure to pay the fee before the last date otherwise, your application will be cancelled.

NSAT 2026 Selection Process

After the NSAT 2026 exam result declaration, NIU will conducts selection process to shortlist candidates for admission. As part of NSAT selection process, candidates who shall be shortlisted for admission will have to reserve their seat by paying 50 per cent of the first semester fee. If a candidate does not reserve the seat by paying the requisite amount, the seat will be allotted to next candidate. There is no Personal Interview round for admission.

Candidates must note that the admission confirmation fee is non-refundable. The remaining amount of semester fee will have to be paid within 30 days of their reservation of seat to confirm their admission failing which the allotted seat will be transferred to the waiting list students.

Q:   Where can I download NSAT admit card from?
A: 

NSAT admit card is issued soon after the application form is submitted. It can be downloaded from the dashboard. Candidates have to carry the hard copy of the admir card on the exam day.

A: 

After NSAT result announcement, candidates selected for admission have to pay 50% of the semester fee and confirm admission before the deadline. If they fail to do so, their candidature will be cancelled.

No, it is not allowed to change the test centre after NSAT 2026 admit card has been released. Candidates will have to appear for the exam at the centre as mentioned in the NSAT admit card.

A: 

NSAT result is shared with candidates in email. Those who appear for the exam receive their scorecard in email as attachment. Test takers must keep a check on their registered email ID for NSAT result. Incase, a candidate does not get the result on time they must check their spam/junk folder. They can also contact the examination body to obtain their result.
