Candidate must have graduate degree from a recognised University to get admission at NSOU. Advanced Diploma in Hospital Front Office at Netaji Subhas Open University is a one year course at the PG level.The total tuition fee for Netaji Subhas Open University Advanced Diploma in Hospital Front Office is INR 30,000.

The candidate need to meet the lasr educational qilaification to be applicable for MBA course at Netaji Subhas Open University. The students would be selected through Management Entrance Test (NSOU-MET) followed by Personal Interview (PI)
of 100 marks. The NSOU-ET may be of 100 marks (English-30, Mathematics-30, Aptitude-20 and GK20) based on MCQ. The students may be selected on the basis of the results of NSOU-MET & PI.

The minimum duration of the Programmee is two years from the date of registration for MA at Netaji Subhas Open University. The registration is valid for a period of maximum  five years provided the candidate pays renewal fees and other relevant fees within due time as and when notified by the University. University conducts PG admission for January Session. Courses are offered in annual system.

Yes, you can join Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) based on merit. All students must meet the required percentage as per ttheir last educational qualification previous exams to be considered for admission.

For example, to be eligible for the BEd in Special Education course, candidates must be:

  • Have a Master's Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, or Humanities
  • The candidate should have bachelor's programme with 50% aggregate.

Also eligible for the MBA course, students must be:

  • Any graduate or Degree in Law/ Engineering/ Pharmacy/ Architecture
  • Have a bachelor's degree from a recognised college or university.

NSOU Kolkata offers study materials to the students after they enroll themselves in the programmes offered at the university. Students can collect their SLM, i.e. self-learning material from their allocated learner support centre. To collect the SLMs students have to show their receipt provided by the university. Students can also study from a softcopy of the same available on the official website. The study material is available in two mediums, i.e. English and Bengali.

Netaji Subhas Open University offers an MA in History through the School of Social Sciences. The course is spread over a minimum duration of two years and can be completed up to five years. The eligibility criteria are different for students from the CBCS and non-CBCS categories.

For Non CBCS: Candidates, who have a graduation degree (10+2+3) and have scored at least 300 marks in History, are eligible to apply for the programme.

For CBCS: Candidates, who have a graduation degree (10+2+3) with Core Course (CC/Discipline Specific Elective (DSE)/ Equivalent in History, are eligible to pursue the programme.
