The NUCAT 2026 application form is currently available for test 2. NUCAT exam is conducted 3 times in a year in February, April and June 2026.  The exact dates are announced on Nitte University's official website each year.

NUCAT is the entrance exam for admission to BTech, 4-Year B.Sc (Hons) Biomedical Science, 4-Year B.Sc Nursing, MBA, and MCA programs at Nitte University and NMIT Bengaluru. The exam is conducted every year in three phases in February, April and May. Candidates can appear in one, two or all three phases and rank will be calculated on best score of all phases test taken by the them.

It is important to note that the NUCAT 2024 application process is over. The application window has been closed for all three phases. Please refer to the following dates for future reference: 

Phase 1 Registration was started around  February 7, 2024 and closed around April 6, 2024.

Phase 2 Registration was started om April 11, 2024 and Closed around June 2, 2024.

A practice test will be held before the real exams. It is recommended for candidates to take the mock test in order to familiarize themselves with the exam format and question types in NUCAT. The dates for practice exams are as listed below.

• The first mock test is scheduled for 10th and 11th February 2024.

Mock test 2 is scheduled to take place from 13th to 15th April 2024.

• A practice exam called Mock test 3 is scheduled for 7th to 9th June 2024.

The NUCAT 2024 exam was conducted in three phases: Test 1: April 21, 2024 [NUCAT official website]. Test 2: June 16, 2024 [Shiksha NUCAT dates]. Test 3: June 14 to June 16, 2024 (This was the most recent test) [Shiksha NUCAT dates]. Since today is June 4, 2024, all the NUCAT 2024 exams have already been conducted.

The NUCAT 2024 counselling will take place in the month of June and July. According to the information available online about NUCAT 2024 exam, the counselling period was from June 28 to July 1, 2024.

As per the information provided, after the NUCAT counselling process, the next step would be to confirm the acceptance of the seat allotted to you. If you have been offered a seat, you can confirm your acceptance by paying the first-year fees through various online payment modes or by submitting a demand draft in person at NMAMIT, Nitte. If you wish to upgrade or change your seat, you can participate in Round 2 of counselling and enter your preferences. Candidates not attending NUCAT counselling will not be given admission in college. Candidates must follow schedule and attend counselling. If you do not attend, your name may be removed from merit list, and you may not be able to get admission to university. Therefore, it is important to attend counselling process and complete admission formalities as per schedule.
