NUCAT Test 1 application form will be available till February 9, 2026

NUCAT Test 2 application form will be available from February 10, 2026, to April 13, 2026.

Application fee of INR 1000 must be paid to submit NUCAT 2026 Application form. NUCAT application fee can be paid online. The application fee will not be refunded. If the candidates want to appear for exam in multiple slots, they must pay fees separately for each slot.

CET/COMEDK score will not be considered for B.Tech. admission at NMAMIT. The BTech admission will be based on the NUCAT score only. The candidates who score above the cutoff score in NUCAT will be given admission to the B.Tech programme at NMAMIT

NUCAT admit card colour print is not needed. The candidates can take a colour print since details will be clear in it. A colour print of photograph and other details are clear, making identification easier for exam officials. However, black and white print is generally allowed if details are clearly visible.

NUCAT 2026 admit card release date will be announced soon. Admit card will be released separately for each test, few days before exam. The admit card will be available for download on official website. Candidates can enter login credentials and download admit card.

In NUCAT exam, each correct answer will be given 1 mark. Marks will not be reduced for wrong answers. Since there is marks reduced for wrong answer, candidates can answer questions without losing marks. 

No negative marks for incorrect answer in NUCAT. For every correct answer, candidate will be given 1 mark. Total marks given in exam are 120 marks for 120 questions.

The duration of NUCAT exam is usually 2 hours. NUCAT can be taken at home or at exam centre. Technical requirements to take test online are as follows:

NUCAT answer key is released immediately after exam. NUCAT 2026 answer key will be available for only two days after exam. After that, it cannot be viewed. The NUCAT result is determined based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the NUCAT 2026. The Class 12 marks of the candidate are not considered while allotting ranks. The ranks are allotted to the candidates only based on their NUCAT 2026 score. 

The NUCAT Rank list will be released on May 30, 2026. The NUCAT rank will be displayed on the test portal by Nitte University. The merit list will be available on the official website. The exact dates are usually communicated beforehand. The candidates will be called for counselling after the results are announced. 

NUCAT results will be released on official website. Candidates can download it online. Candidates need not visit the campus to check for results. The Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT) rank will be published on the Test platform yaksha.nitte.edu.in. 

Candidates not attending NUCAT counselling will not be given admission in college. Candidates must follow schedule and attend counselling. If you do not attend, your name may be removed from merit list, and you may not be able to get admission to university. Therefore, it is important to attend counselling process and complete admission formalities as per schedule.

NUCAT 2026 counselling will be conducted in June 2026. The NUCAT counselling dates are from June 6 to June 10, 2026. The NUCAT 2026 counselling is conducted on different categories on different dates. The candidates are called for counselling based on the NUCAT score. 

NUCAT counselling is usually conducted in online mode. The mode of counselling is usually communicated by the university to the candidates. The candidates must take all the required documents for document verification after the counselling process. The candidates can confirm the seat allotted by paying the first-term course fee.
