NUCAT 2023: Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT) 2023 will be conducted in online mode. Admission to the BTech program at Nitte University will be through the NUCAT entrance exam. The NUCAT application form 2023 is currently available on the official website. A candidate can take a maximum of 3 tests and the best of attempts will be considered for the ranking. The NUCAT registration fee will have to be paid during the online registration process for each test. NUCAT registration 2023 will close on January 21, 2023. What is NUCAT?

Admission to BTech programs at NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte will be through the Common Entrance Test. NUCAT is designed to assess the knowledge and skills of the students in their chosen field of study. The test covers subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology for engineering programs, and topics such as English, reasoning, and general knowledge for non-technical courses. The scores are used by the university to determine the eligibility of the students for admission to their chosen program. It may also be used to assign scholarships and financial aid.

NUCAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The admission to BTech program will be under General Category (Candidates who have passed Class 12 in India) and the NRI category.

The eligibility category for the General Category students is as follows

• Class: Candidates must have passed or are attempting the Class 12 or equivalent examination in India.
• Subjects: Candidates should have studied Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects. One subject from Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics, or Information Technology. The candidates should have English as one of the languages of study in Class 12.
• Percentage: The candidate should have scored 45% marks (40% for reserved category) aggregate in Mathematics, Physics, and any one of the optional subjects mentioned above, in Class 12.
• Age: The applicant must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the admissions year.

NRI Category: NRI category includes Foreign Nationals or Persons of Indian Origin (Candidates who have completed Class 12 outside of India or Candidates sponsored by parents or blood relatives who have NRI status or Overseas Citizens of India) The admission for the NRI category will be based on inter-se merit, taking into account the marks earned in PCM courses in Class 12.

The only way to access the NUCAT 2023 application form is online. Candidates who are eligible for filling out the application form can apply for the NUCAT 2023 online. NUCAT 2023 Admit Card

The NUCAT 2023 Admit Card will be made available on the official website. The applicants must download and print these documents as it is mandatory to take the admit card to the test location. The candidates must strictly follow the guidelines given on the NUCAT 2023 Admit Card. The candidate must get in touch with the official authority if they find any discrepancies in the information on the admit card.  The admit card for NUCAT 2023 test 1 will be available from 22 Jan '23 to 25 Jan '23.

NUCAT 2023 Pattern

NUCAT 2023 is an examination conducted in online mode. NUCAT 2023 exam includes Multiple Choice Questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. From each subject, 40 questions will be asked in the exam. There will be a total of 120 questions asked in the examination. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be allotted. There will not be any negative marking for wrong answers.

NUCAT 2023 Preparation Tips

For all candidates who will be appearing for NUCAT 2023 Exam and are checking for preparation tips on how to proceed with NUCAT exam preparation, the following NUCAT 2023 preparation tips are provided:

• Candidates must plan how to proceed with each subject, including how to divide their time and manage their resources.
• Starting with the preparation of the timetable, the candidates must study all the important topics in-depth and the less important things quickly, but be sure not to skip any topics.
• Solving previous year papers will help the candidates have a sense of the exam format, answering questions will also help the candidates assess their level of preparation and identify areas that can be improved.
• Join a test series and take tests every day to improve the candidate's ability to respond to questions quickly, accurately, and precisely.

NUCAT 2023 Answer Key

The concerned authorities will release the NUCAT 2023 Answer Key on the official website. The NUCAT answer key, response sheet, and question papers are all uploaded under the candidates' logins. Candidates can access the answer key and question paper by logging in with a user ID and password. The official answer key and response sheet are available for objections. If the candidates have any objection against any answer, they can object to the answer key by filling out and submitting the objection form. After reviewing the challenges, a final answer key is also released, based on which NUCAT scores are calculated.

NUCAT 2023 Result

NUCAT University 2023 results will be announced in June, tentatively. The NUCAT 2023 results can be accessed online on the official website. Results will be made available individually for various courses. The merit list will include the candidate's name, score, position, etc. The candidates will be called for the counselling process after the merit list is published. All qualifying candidates should take part in the counselling process. Candidates will receive university admission based on the counselling process.

NUCAT 2023 Scholarships

The individuals are eligible to apply for the university's scholarships to study at NMAMIT.

• For NUCAT top scorers, 20% of each program’s seats are reserved.
• 40% of the prescribed fee is given to the NUCAT 2023 toppers.

NUCAT 2023 Counselling

The NUCAT University 2023 counselling process will be carried out for the candidates who get shortlisted. The counselling session will be conducted online. All applicants whose names appear on the merit list should attend the NUCAT 2023 counselling session for admission. Candidates are expected to present both the original and photocopies of the necessary documentation for verification. The counselling letters for the candidates whose seats are allotted during the counselling process will be available for download. As no admission will be permitted in the absence of counselling letters.
