Yes, it is possible to pursue medical education and become a doctor after completing a BSc in Nursing from KGMU. However, the process involves several steps and requires awareness of specific requirements.

In India, admission to medical schools is primarily through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test . Therefore, you will need to prepare for NEET.

Once you pass NEET, you can enroll in an MBBS programme, which typically lasts around five and a half years and includes both pre-clinical and clinical training.

No, NEET is not mandatory for admission to BSc Nursing programmes. NTA released a notification earlier this year stating that NEET scores will now be used for admissions in BSc Nursing and Life Sciences courses. Various nursing colleges in India offer B.Sc Nursing programmes without NEET. Admission to these colleges is given through either state level entrance exams or particular entrance exams of the institute.

Hello!

There is less possibility to get direct admission to a B.Sc Nursing course. The admissions to this course are generally merit-based or entrance exam-based. To check if they have the option for direct admission you can contact the admission office of the college.

Placements also vary from college to college. However, the medical field is growing only. The average salary after B.Sc Nursing is in range INR 2.5 LPA -8 LPA.

I hope it will help. You can reach out to us for further queries.

Thank You.
