Students can choose from two-course options for graduate-level (duration – four years) - BSc (Basic) and BSc (Post-Basic), postgraduate level MSc in Nursing (duration – 18 months to three years) and PhD in Nursing (two to three years). The eligibility criteria for the two is mentioned below:
- BSc (Basic)– Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and should be medically fit.

In Maharashtra, there are about 669 Nursing colleges in Maharashtra. Out of which, 448 colleges are owned by the Private sector, 51 colleges are owned by the Public sector and the rest 30 colleges are owned by the Public Private sector.
