AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) offers a Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme for female candidates only. The admission process for the programme is as follows:
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination and should have completed a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) programme. Candidates should be registered nurses and midwives with any State Nursing Registration Council. Entrance Exam: Candidates have to appear for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam consists of multiple-choice questions on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Knowledge. Candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying marks in NEET to be eligible for admission. Online Application: After the declaration of NEET results, candidates need to apply online for admission to the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme at AFMC. The application form is available on the official website of AFMC. Selection Process: The selection of candidates is based on the NEET score and their performance in the interview conducted by AFMC.
