There are so many Medical Surgical Nursing colleges in India in which you can get admission on merit-based. For example, Parul University, Amity University, Armed Forces Medical College, SRM Medical College, St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences, etc. don't really conduct or accept any entrance exam scores for MSc Medical Surgical Nursing admission.

You can just fulfill the eligibility criteria and get admission to these colleges without any exam.

No, there's no strict age limitation to pursue an MSc in Medical Surgical Nursing. However, some colleges may have an upper age limit of 35 years. Also, there can be some age relaxations for candidates with specific categories or disabilities.

The basic difference between Medical-Surgical Nursing and General Nursing practice is that Medical-Surgical Nursing is focused on the specific area of study, where Nurses get trained to provide medical assistance to patients with surgical conditions. And the general Nursing practice trains Nurses for each & every basic duty for a general patient's ward.
