Clinical psychologists work for medical organisations and they are not doctors. Clinical psychologists provide psychotherapy, psychological testing, and diagnosis of mental illness. Psychologist are generally trained within four primary theoretical orientations, psycho dynamic, humanistic, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and systems or family therapy. The subject offer wide range of career opportunities. Clinical psychologists usually work in hospitals, academic institutions, counselling and rehabilitation centres. They can also establish private consultation firms. Eligibility criteria : Candidates who have passed three years Bachelor Degree with Psychology as a subject are eligible to pursue the course. Post basic Nursing : The increase in demand for medical courses and doctors entails an increase in demand for other medical professionals as well. Every hospital functions basis several roles that jointly assist and fulfill its purpose. One of these roles is that of a nurse. The demand for nurses has increased a lot in the past few years. Its objective is to train the students with as much experiential learning as possible so that they are skilled and gain mastery in providing the best care to patients by monitoring the medical condition of the patients, administering medications, communicating with doctors, maintaining records etc. Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing also opens the doors for students to pursue higher studies in the course and go for Masters or Ph.D. The requirement of Nursing graduates is persistent in a lot of sectors and its demand is expected to constantly increase in the future as well.
