Yes, Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology (HiCET) is recognized. It is recognized under Section 2(f) and 12B of University Grants Commission (UGC) and Chennai with permanent affiliation for most of the programs, approved by the AICTE and the Government of India. Time Engineering Ranking 2021 Hindustan institute of technology and Science emerged as one of the top private engineering institute in Tamil Nadu and ranked 3rd position in the overall category.

The ranking of Hindustan college of engineering and technology  by the times of India is 17 out of 170 colleges in India in 2023. HICET B.Tech ranking by others news channel is 322 out of 392 colleges in India in 2023. So overall college is great as compared to ranking purpose.

Sahyadri Valley College of Engineering and Technology (SVCET) has achieved numerous achievements in such a short time. It was established in year 2011. 

The college has been:

  • Approved by the Government of Maharashtra, AICTE and DTE 
  • accredited by NAAC with a 'B+' grade
  • In 2015, Rural and Tribal Maharashtra, was awarded the Best Emerging Engineering College
