It is recognized under Section 2(f) and 12B of University Grants Commission (UGC) and Chennai with permanent affiliation for most of the programs, approved by the AICTE and the Government of India. Time Engineering Ranking 2021 Hindustan institute of technology and Science emerged as one of the top private engineering institute in Tamil Nadu and ranked 3rd position in the overall category.
