The Ohio State University acceptance rate is 60.5%. Looking at the acceptance rate, it can be said that OSU is moderately selective for admission. In other words, to get into OSU, the applicants are required to have a good academic background. International undergraduate students must be secondary school graduates. For graduate admission, the applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree at least.

According to the 2023 Open Doors national rankings, The Ohio State University is ranked at #30 among doctoral institutions hosting international students. In 2022, OSU enrolled more than 6,800 international students. There is an increase of 4.4% from 2021. The slight increase in the number of international students enrolled at OSU can be attributed to more students continuing their academic programs through Optional Practical Training in the US after graduation. In 2022, international students at OSU hailed from more than 120 countries including India from where 759 students were enrolled.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in English or a minimum of 40 quarter hours (27 semester hours) of English coursework from an accredited college or university.

Yes, the MBA course requires the applicant's to have GMAT or GRE score. The average GMAT and GRE score of students applying for Ohio State university is 683 and 311 for GRE, respectively. However, the university wants it’s applicants to start the application process early. Allowing time will help the student prepare the application fully and help you devote sufficient resources thought each step without rushing yourself or those who will write your letters of recommendation as recommendations take time. • your undergraduate or graduate cumulative GPA is below the minimum of 3.0 (B grade)
• you hold a degree from an unaccredited college or university
