To determine the credibility of an online MBA program, verify if a known education body like UGC or AICTE accredits the college or university. Examine the faculty credentials, curriculum, and technology for online learning. Go through reviews from current students and alumni feedback for insight into the learning process. Also, study the career progress of alumni graduates to understand how the programme assisted them professionally.

Yes, most employers value the online MBA, particularly from an accredited institution like IIM, NMIMS, ISB, Amity, etc. Employers prioritize the quality of education, the competencies you gain, and how you can apply them effectively in actual business settings. Most online MBA degrees use the same high-quality curriculum as on-campus programs with the same experienced faculty, which makes them equally legitimate.

This entirely depends on your academic and career goals. An online M.Com can be a comparatively better option than an online MBA degree when you are considering to pursue further education in areas of commerce or finance.  But, if you are aspiring to get into business and management studies that can potentially open up more opportunities for higher paying jobs, consider an online MBA.

Generally, executive MBA online programs require a bachelor's degree and some years of work experience. In most of the selective programmes like those of Coursera/IIT-R, Wharton, and SP Jain, cohorts have 10 to 15 years of work experience and they have bachelor's degrees.

The Wharton eMBA programme is not entirely online. You will still have to visit campus for brief periods in the two years of pursuing the course.
