MicroMasters programs are a special category of courses offered by edX that expedite your journey from bachelor's to master's programs. These programs are in between bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Those who want financial support for enrolling in edX courses will have to follow the step by step process as mentioned below.
Enrol in the desired course in the 'free audit track'. Do note that this course must offer verified certificates. Complete the application by certifying that the fee of the verified certificate will cause economic hardship.
Once enrollment is completed, students will have to complete the financial assistance application.
After completing the application process, students will have to wait for 4 weeks for a reply via email.

edX offers both free and paid courses. If the student is financially weak, he/she can enrol in a ‘free to audit’ track. However, you will not get a certification. If the student still wants a certification, you can seek financial assistance on the edX platform. By enrolling in free to audit courses that are eligible for verified certificates, interested students can apply for financial assistance. Do note that not all eligible students will get financial assistance. If you need a certificate, you can directly enrol in verified tracks or paid courses.
