To appear for IBSAT online proctored examination, candidates must: 

1. Use latest version of any of browsers Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. 
2. Enable webcam and microphone on Desktop/Laptop/Tablet or Mobile. 
3. Ad Blocker should be switched off and auto password save must be disabled. 
4. Allow Cookies setting in browser. 
5. All applications that use a camera, microphone, and screen sharing must be disabled. 
6. Popup Blocker should be disabled. 
7. Clear Browser Cache before exam begins 
8. Take examination in a room with proper lighting and minimal background noise. 
9. Applicant must ensure no objects/obstacles are behind them and the light is falling on face.

SRMJEEE used to be held as a computer based test. However, after the pandemic, SRMJEEE is being held as an online proctored test. The difference between the 2 is that CBT exams are not internet based tests. The candidates are needed to visit an exam centre and access the test on a computer which has exam questions already fed on it. In SRMJEEE online proctored test, candidates have to take the exam with the help of internet connection from the comfort of their homes on their own devices. In Proctored Online Exam, you will be under constant observation during the entire duration of the test via artificial intelligence tools and live monitoring by the proctors. Any suspected activity will lead to the immediate termination of exam. The AI tools will be able to detect any movement of face or eyeballs and highlight the same automatically. Thus, the candidate will be under constant vigilance of proctor through live feed to deter any suspicious activity of the candidate.
