Syllabus for Database Administrator - Database administration, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, Oracle, Oracle 11g. Syllabus for Data Managers - Data management, Microsoft Excel, Data Analysis, Database management and reporting, SQL. Syllabus of Database Developer - SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Database Development, SQL Service Integration Services. SQL syllabus contains Manipulation, Queries, Aggregate functions and Multiple tables.

Diploma in Database Administration, BCA in Database systems, MCA are the popular database courses. The Diploma courses are offered at a PG level, So candidates can do it after graduation. Bachelor courses focuses on developing advanced skills in designing, managing, monitoring and administrating corporate database systems. Database courses are not available in Master courses but the database course is available in the MCA programme in their module.

The admission into the Bachelor database course is based on the entrance examination. There is no such particular exam conducted for this course. The candidates have to give the common entrance tests conducted by the particular institutes. IPU CET is an entrance exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for admission into various UG and PG courses offered by the institute. The database management system is a module in the MCA programme. Master course particularly on the database are not available.
