Placements at the PG College of Law, Osmania University vary with different courses. The college has a placement cell that works towards placements in law firms, LPOs, and offices of advocates. While some students get placed at INR 13 to INR 14 lakhs per annum, some students face real difficulties in getting a job from campus placements. Many students want to work under senior advocates before seeking regular employment. Overall, then, good placement opportunities exist for some, but they do not have a wide scope and vary greatly among students based on their networks and level of proactive effort.

PG College of Law, Osmania University is particularly famous for LL.B. (3-Year Degree Course) and LL.M. programs. The curriculum followed here is rich in several specializations like Constitutional Law, Corporate Law and Labour Laws. With over 115 years of experience in higher education in the area of law, Osmania University is one of the oldest law colleges in Asia. Moreover, through moot courts and internships, it gives students practical exposure that enhances their preparedness for careers in practice. The combination of history, curriculum, and practical exposure places it in a league of its own in legal education.

Osmania University may or may not extend the last date of the CPGET application process. For the 2024 entrance test, they did extend the last date twice. However, the first extension came with an extra late fee of INR 500 and the second  extension cost students INR 2000 extra on the application form fee.
