There are professionally trained faculty at LPU who impart both theoretical and practical knowledge for the holistic development of the students. In addition to it, there is a dedicated department in LPU that looks into preparing students for placements. They train the students into verbal, analytical and logical ability. LPU is having Tie Ups with Civil Industry which resulted into Content Delivery by Industry Experts, Projects in collaboration with Industry. Civil engineering will always be in demand. The human civilisation will always be engaged in the task of construction be it for the residential purpose, commercial or for leisure. After doing a course in civil engineering you can become:

The companies that have recruited LPU students include giants like Larsen & Tubro Ltd, Simplex Infrastructure pvt Ltd. , Gammon India, National Highway Authority of India, HCC, Shapoorji & Pallonji, DLF Homes, RITES Ltd. , NCC, SAIL, DMRC BHEL etc. The highest package offered was 31 LPA (Code Nation) and average salary is 4.2 LPA. Law department at LPU is one of the first departments that came up when LPU was taking its shape. According to NIRF ranking the Law School is ranked 24th. The vision of the school is studying by books is not a rule of Law. The course aims at preparing the students with an interest to pursue legal education with social sciences to benefit society. Creation of well trained and dedicated professionals in the legal framework. It also aims at nurturing a graduate with in depth knowledge of different aspects of laws comprising civil, criminal, taxation and international laws and ensuring conceptual clarity for judicial services aspirants. Law students are prepared to spot legal issues from a set of hypothetical facts and brainstorm various legal consequences, to be a perfect legal professional. The courses are approved by the Bar Council of India. The Career guidance magazine Higher Education Review has recognised Law School at Lovely Professional University among top-ten most promising institutions of India for its capability of producing next-gen legal professionals. The eligibility criteria for the course is 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. For SC ST applicants there is 5 percent relaxation while there is 3 percent relaxation for the OBC candidates.
