The cutoff marks for P.E.S. College of Engineering are year-wise and course-wise. For the year 2024, the MHT CET cutoff for various B.Tech specializations are as follows.
B.E. in Civil Engineering Last Round Closing Rank - 14.19
B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, and Power Engg.: Final Round Closing Rank - 18.41
B.Tech in Electronics Engineering with VLSI Design and Technology: Closing Score for last round - 12.56
B.Tech in Mechanical and Automation Engineering Last Round Closing Score: 0.15

Yes, there are some conditions for direct admission to P.E.S. College of Engineering (PESCE). While entrance tests like KCET, PESSAT, or JEE Main constitute the majority share of admission, the management quota allows for direct admission. Eligibility criteria for Direct Admission B.Tech: The candidate should have cleared Class 12 with at least 60% marks in PCM.

Although it does not provide 100% scholarships for its courses, P.E.S. College of Engineering offers numerous scholarships and financial aids based on merit and eligibility criteria. Some of the scholarship schemes include Prof. MRD Scholarships, in which the top 20% of students, based on performance in academia, receive a 40% refund of their tuition fees, and Prof. CNR Rao Scholarships, in which the top 5% of students receive 50% tuition fee refund. The rural scholarships, on the other hand, proffer free, full engineering education to selected students coming from rural backgrounds.

Yes. Admission to P.E.S. College of Engineering in B.E./B.Tech can be done without appearing for MHT CET. The major share of the student intake happens due to merit in national-level entrance tests like JEE Main or PESSAT - PES Scholastic Aptitude Test.
Then comes the eligibility criteria, comprising completion of Class 12 with minimum aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. So if one has a valid score in JEE Main or PESSAT then, he/ she could definitely get into the college without taking MHT CET.

P.E.S. College of Engineering is an autonomous private institution, managed by the People's Education Trust, established in 1962 and authorized under Visvesvaraya Technological University. Even though it is a private college, it receives some level of government support by virtue of obtaining Grant-in-Aid code from the Government of Karnataka. PESCE is also accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has successfully obtained accreditation from other agencies in its pursuit of adhering to quality standards of education.
