Indian students have to demonstrate English proficiency through tests. Pacific Oaks College accepts TOEFL with a minimum score of 79 and IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5. Pacific Oaks College takes admissions on a rolling basis i.e., throughout the year. The deadline for transfer students is June 1 for the fall semester. Students applying for campus based programs have three starting dates per year, spring, summer and fall. For online programs there are six starting dates per year which provides flexibility to the applicants.

In either case, it is a selective institute. It has different criteria for admission to bachelor's and master's courses.
