Indian students have to demonstrate English proficiency through tests. Pacific Oaks College accepts TOEFL with a minimum score of 79 and IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5. Scores must be no more than 2 years old. English proficiency scores are important for students whose native language is not English.

  • I-20 form issued by the college
  • College acceptance letter.
  • Valid passport at least six months beyond the intended stay in the U.S.
  • Passport sized photographs
  • DS-160 application form filled and submitted.
  • Visa application fee receipt.
  • Payment receipt of Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) fee.
  • All the necessary academic documents.
  • English proficiency test scores
  • Financial documents demonstrating sufficient funds to cover expenses at Pacific Oak college.

Pacific Oaks College takes admissions on a rolling basis i.e., throughout the year. The deadline for transfer students is June 1 for the fall semester. Students applying for campus based programs have three starting dates per year, spring, summer and fall. For online programs there are six starting dates per year which provides flexibility to the applicants.

Getting into Pacific Oaks College is considered to be moderately competitive. According to a US News report, it has an acceptance rate of 13%. Some sources mention the acceptance rate as 40%. In either case, it is a selective institute. It has different criteria for admission to bachelor's and master's courses. For a bachelor's course, a student is required to have a GPA of 2.0 or higher, a personal statement mentioning goals and commitments to Pacific Oaks College, and three or more years of significant professional or life experience.
