The school was started in 2007 to create promising Petroleum Engineers. Other than B.Tech it offers M.Tech., & Ph.D programs to the students. The SPT faculty members have a prosperous industrial as well as academic experience. Students and faculty members are engaged in practical research and the School organizes expert lectures, conclaves, seminars and workshops and makes sure that the students are efficient in their field.
