According to the old data available on the official website, Computer Science and Engineering course offer good salary package during placements. In 2022, the highest package offered during CSE placements was INR 3 LPA. Further, 21 students were placed during CSE placements 2022.

For most courses at Panjab University, direct admission without entrance exams isn't the primary mode of selection. Many programs, including BTech, MTech, MBA, require entrance exams conducted by the university itself. Whereas, Some programs might require scores from national-level entrance exams like CAT (MBA), JEE Main (Engineering), etc.
A small percentage of seats might be allocated under a management quota. The selection there is based on criteria determined by the university management and not entrance exams. However, detailed information about management quota seats might not be readily available on the official PU website.
