You better hurry if you have to start learning via distance education mode. UGC is in process of stopping all courses via distance which require lots of practical. But you can think of doing AMIE which is equivalent to BE, while working. It's through distance mode only.

If you love whatever work you do and if you are satisfied then don't leave the job. If you want to study in the meantime and you just want a degree for the sake of the name then its okay to go for part-time MBA.

Yes, there are a plenty of opportunities in Australia. In fact, twice every year, the Embassy of Australia organises meets for prospective students. If you have not attended, then I would advise you to approach a specialised agency dealing with sending students to Australia as they would be aware of different options suiting your needs.
