Pearl Academy Entrance Exam

Yes, admission to Pearl Academy BDes course is entirely entrance-based. The institute conducts its own entrance exam, i.e., PAF for the selection of eligible candidates. Those who are willing to get admission to this course must qualify for the following rounds:

1. General Proficiency Test (GPT): Evaluates a candidate’s proficiency in the English language, Logical reasoning, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation.
2. Design Aptitude Test (DAT): Analyses a candidates' aptitude for creativity, drawing, design ability, power of observation and imagination, sensitivity to environment and communication skills.

Interested candidates are required to qualify for both the rounds in order to get admission.

Yes, for admission to the UG and PG courses, candidates are selected based on a valid score in the PAF entrance exam. This is an in-house entrance exam of Pearl Academy, which is a written exam conducted for the selection of candidates in its UG and PG-level courses across all campuses. This exam is conducted in the following two rounds:

1. General Proficiency Test (GPT): Evaluates a candidate’s proficiency in the English language, Logical reasoning, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation.
2. Design Aptitude Test (DAT): Analyses a candidate's aptitude for creativity, drawing, design ability, power of observation and imagination, sensitivity to environment and communication skills.

Further, eligible candidates are selected based on their scores in PAF, followed by their performance in PI and Portfolio Presentation rounds conducted at the institute.
