At Lovely Professional University (LPU), most design programs like interior designing are offered as full-time regular courses. The university generally does not provide structured part-time programs in interior design at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.

However, LPU may offer short-term certifications, workshops, or flexible learning modules from time to time, which can suit students looking for limited-duration or skill-based learning. For working professionals, some flexibility may be available in higher studies like part-time PhD, but not in core design degrees.

So, for interior designing, full-time study remains the primary

Yes, pursuing a PG in Interior Designing after B.Tech in Civil Engineering is a smart and practical choice. Your background in construction, materials, and structures gives you a strong advantage in design execution and space planning. It helps you move into more creative and client-facing roles.

Career options include Interior Designer, Space Planner, Design Consultant, Set Designer, Furniture Designer, and Project Manager. You can work with architecture firms, real estate companies, or start your own studio. With experience, you can also move into luxury design or commercial projects. Overall, it offers good growth, creativity, and ea

No, GMAT is not mandatory for a PG Diploma in Interior Designing. This course is not a management program, so exams like GMAT are generally not required. Most institutes only ask for a bachelor's degree with around 45–55% marks and may conduct their own entrance test, interview, or offer admission based on merit.

At Lovely Professional University (LPU), admission to design-related postgraduate or diploma programs is typically based on eligibility criteria and internal processes, not GMAT. So, you can apply without worrying about GMAT and focus on your graduation marks, portfolio, or entrance test if required.

At Lovely Professional University (LPU), the fee structure depends on your course, but for many professional programs like B.Arch, the tuition is around ₹1.2 lakh per semester plus exam charges.

Hostel fees are separate and usually range between ₹70,000 to ₹2 lakh per year, depending on room type (AC/non-AC, sharing).

You do not have to pay the entire course fee at once. Fees are generally paid semester-wise, while hostel charges are paid yearly. This makes it easier to manage financially. Scholarships and early booking benefits can also help reduce the overall cost.

hi,

Getting admission in B.Arch at Lovely Professional University (LPU) with 52% in Class 12th from a commerce stream is challenging. For B.Arch, students are generally required to have studied Mathematics in 10+2 along with minimum qualifying marks, as per national regulations. Since commerce stream often does not include Mathematics, you may not meet the eligibility criteria directly. However, if you had Mathematics as a subject, you could still apply and may need to qualify an aptitude test like NATA. Otherwise, you can consider related design programs at LPU that have more flexible eligibility criteria.

Yes, you can still get admission. Most universities, including Lovely Professional University (LPU), primarily consider your graduation marks for postgraduate or specialized courses. A 60% score in graduation generally meets the basic eligibility for many programs. Low percentages in Class 10th and 12th usually do not disqualify you, though they may matter in highly competitive courses. Admission may also depend on entrance tests, interviews, or portfolio (for design fields). If you perform well in these, your chances improve significantly. Overall, your current qualification is sufficient to apply confidently.

hi,

Lovely Professional University (LPU) mainly focuses on full-time degree programs in product and industrial design such as B.Des and M.Des. As of now, it does not widely offer structured short-term or part-time courses specifically in product engineering design at the undergraduate or diploma level.

However, LPU occasionally conducts short-term workshops, certification programs, and skill-based courses in design-related areas for exposure and practical learning.

For part-time options, the university does offer part-time Ph.D. programs in product and industrial design, but these are meant for advanced-level candidates, not beginners.

So,
