PGIMER BSc Nursing exam for BSc Nursing (Hons.) and BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing was held on July 27, 2025 in online mode. The state-level exam was conducted to facilitate admissions to BSc (Hons.) Nursing and BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing programmes.    

PGIMER BSc Nursing application forms for BSc Nursing (Hons.) and BSc Nursing (Post-Basic) programmes will be available on the official website PGIMER Chandigarh from June 2025 onwards. The application form will be available online only.

PGIMER BSc Nursing 2025 exam will be a computer-based test and the applicants will be allotted separate computer systems to solve the questions. No. There is no provision of negative marking in the PGIMER BSc Nursing 2025 exam. For every correct answer, the candidate will get 1 mark and for every wrong response, zero marks will be deducted. 

No, the PGIMER, Chandigarh does not demand to send the hard copy of the filled application form via post to them. The PGIMER Nursing application process will be completely an online process and the applicants can upload the required documents online only.

No, there is only one type of PGIMER Nursing application form and is unilateral for all the categories, however, the reserved category applicants are eligible to get 50 per cent exemption in the application fee.

Candidates who will fill the PGIMER BSc Nursing application form 2025 successfully will be issued PGIMER BSc Nursing admit card. Candidates failing to carry the admit card to the exam centre will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. The PGIMER BSc Nursing admit card for the BSc Nursing programmes will be issued on on the pre-specified date as released by PGIMER Chandigarh. 

No, one cannot take admission to any other university or institution by clearing the PGIMER BSc Nursing exam as no other institute or university accepts PGIMER BSc Nursing scores. Selected candidates will be invited for the counselling process after the exam. No individual intimation is sent to unselected candidates, and no correspondence on the subject is entertained.

A self-attested copy of candidate’s photograph, signature, passing certificates of the qualifying exam, mark sheet of the qualifying exam, proof of age certificate, category certificate (if any) will be required to fill the PGIMER BSc Nursing application form successfully. As per the guideline issued, incomplete applications will not be considered, and no correspondence will be entertained in this matter. All particulars in the application form must be entered carefully. All claims made in the application must be supported with documentary proof.
